Jesus is Back! Wait…God is Back!

Jose Luis Jesus Miranda founded the Ministry of Growing in Grace International.  Based out of Miami, Florida, Jose Luis believes that he is the reincarnation of God, Jesus, Paul, an angel and archangel.  He even sports the supposed anti-christ symbol on his arm, a “666” tatoo.

Originally from Puerto Rico, Jose Luis served in jail before for “petty” offenses.  He became hooked on drugs and claimed that God saved him.  As time went by, he hopped from church to church spreading his teachings which evolved into self-declaration of Prophethood, Anti-Christhood and God himself.  He doesn’t even know why he was chosen by Jesus to be his reincarnation!  Wait, I thought God knew everything.

When giving Khutbahs, he stands behind a lectern emblazoned with a near replica of the U.S. presidential seal, except that it reads in Spanish, government of god on earth.   He is constantly guarded from the side with three burly guys in dark suits with Secret Service-style earpieces. His followers chant, ”Lord! Lord! Lord!”  I didn’t know that God needs security guards.

In reality, Jose Luis is another Pharoah that exploits his followers and takes money donated to the Ministry for himself.  He frequently brags about his worldy posessesions from Rolex watches to BMWs.  With gambling bills totalling up to 48,000 dollars in one sitting,  his name is again splashed over the news regarding his recent divorce.  I never imagined that God himself cheats on his wife, goes through divorce and brags about his worldly achievements.

He reminds me of a Latino-George Bush.  He thinks that he is the President of the world.  His followers believe that there’s not such thing as “sin” and “evil” and whoever enters his church can do anything in this world because they are forgiven.  Here are a few videos depicting this so called “God”.
